St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School Kitale claimed the top position in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams for Trans Nzoia County with exceptional performance.
The national soccer powerhouse achieved an impressive mean score of 9.7 (B+), showing a notable improvement from last year’s 9.014 (B). This outstanding performance ensures direct university entry for all candidates.
Out of the candidates who sat for the 2025 examinations, 10 students scored grade A, while 150 attained A-. A further 294 candidates earned B+, 224 scored B, and 36 obtained B-, while 12 candidates scored C+.
The school’s Chief Principal Cosmas Nabungolo credited the improved performance to the dedicated teamwork fostered by the collective efforts of teachers, students, and parents, who created a supportive environment for the class.
“This success is a testament to the hard work put into nurturing not only their academic potential but also their growth in co-curricular activities. This achievement underscores the effectiveness of our approach in balancing both academics and character development,” said Mr. Nabungolo.
