Trans Nzoia PM Delegates Endorse MP Amisi for Party Leader Ahead of NDC

Delegates of the People’s Renaissance Movement (PM) in Trans Nzoia County have endorsed Saboti MP Caleb Amisi for the position of party leader ahead of the party’s National Delegates Conference (NDC), scheduled for August 11.

The endorsement was announced during a meeting in Kitale, where party officials said the county delegation had unanimously resolved to support Amisi’s bid to lead the party.

Trans Nzoia PM Chairman Stanslaus Omondi said the delegates were confident that Amisi had the leadership qualities needed to steer the party’s growth and strengthen its national presence.

“We, as delegates of the People’s Renaissance Movement, endorse Saboti MP Caleb Amisi as the party leader of PM,” Omondi said.

The county’s PM Secretary Isaac Wanyonyi Fwamba said the party was focused on expanding its grassroots structures and preparing to field candidates for elective positions across the country.

“We are the party to watch, and we welcome all aspirants who believe in transformative politics to join us,” Fwamba said.

Trans Nzoia PM Women’s Leader Dorothy Aliuba said the party had made significant progress in promoting women’s participation in leadership and governance.

“Our party has demonstrated a genuine commitment to empowering women. We are creating space for women to participate in leadership and decision-making, and we encourage more women to join the People’s Renaissance Movement and help shape its future,” Aliuba said.

The National Delegates Conference, scheduled for August 11, is expected to deliberate on key leadership positions and outline the party’s strategy as it seeks to strengthen its presence on the national political stage.
