“The lack of a public university is a huge blow to this county’s economy. A university will boost education, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth. I will ensure Trans Nzoia gets one,” he said.
Dr. Wamalwa also reaffirmed his recent defection to the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party and used the forum to rally support for President William Ruto’s re-election.
“The President deserves a second term. He has delivered on his promises to Kenyans and still has much to achieve under his development agenda,” he said.
As the 2027 race begins to take shape, Dr. Wamalwa continues to engage residents across the county, selling his vision of a healthier, more productive, and economically vibrant Trans Nzoia.
