Early Valentine’s Gift as Social Worker Wins Suzuki Alto in Khetias’ Changamka Ushinde Promotion

Ruth Wanjiru Kimani, a social worker from Kiungani in Trans Nzoia County, has won a brand new Suzuki Alto vehicle at the Kitale branch of Khetias Supermarket in the ongoing Changamka Ushinde Na Khetias promotion.

The promotion, which ran from November 26, 2025 to January 31, 2026, featured eight Suzuki Alto vehicles as grand prizes across various Khetias branches.

So far, five of the vehicles have already been won, with draws continuing in the remaining outlets alongside other prizes worth Sh8 million in each of the participating branches.

The prizes that were up for grabs included television sets, shopping vouchers, microwaves and refrigerators among others.

Bungoma is next in line for the grand draw, followed by Kakamega and Kisumu as the retailer concludes the nationwide campaign.

The Marketing Manager, Edward Otieno, said the promotion has so far seen vehicles handed over in Meru, Thika, Nairobi and Eldoret.

“The annual promotion is a way of giving back to customers for having shopped with us in our branches throughout the year,” said Mr. Otieno.

The Branch Manager of Khetias Plus Nabiswa, Robert, thanked customers for patronising the supermarket and taking part in the promotion.

Ms Kimani, who was accompanied by her mother Monica Kimani and her father John Kimani, said the news came as a surprise.

“This vehicle will be a big boost to me in my social work job since I will be able to move around easily while visiting orphanages,” she said.

The Changamka Ushinde Na Khetias promotion attracted thousands of shoppers who participated by purchasing products during the promotional period, with the initiative aimed at rewarding customer loyalty.

Khetias Supermarket operates branches in Kitale, Bungoma, Kakamega, Webuye, Eldoret, Kisumu, Busia, Nairobi, Naivasha, Limuru, Thika, Nyeri, Chuka, Meru and Maua.
