Ruto Allies Hold Consultative Forum in Endebess, Rally Second Term for Ruto

Leaders allied to President William Ruto on Wednesday held a consultative forum at Munene Secondary School in Endebess Constituency, hosted by area MP Dr. Robert Pukose.

The leaders used the meeting to drum up support for President Ruto’s re-election bid in 2027, urging residents of Trans Nzoia County to back the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Dr. Pukose lauded President Ruto for what he termed as significant economic transformation since assuming office, saying the government has stabilized the economy and rolled out key development programs aimed at uplifting ordinary Kenyans.

“The President has transformed the country economically through bold reforms and empowerment programs targeting farmers, small-scale traders and youth. We must support his re-election to ensure continuity of development,” said Dr. Pukose.

He also called on residents to participate in the upcoming repeat United Democratic Alliance (UDA) grassroots elections, noting that the party is seeking to revitalize its structures ahead of the 2027 General Election.

“We want a strong and vibrant party from the grassroots. I urge our supporters to take part in the repeat grassroots elections so that we can strengthen UDA ahead of 2027,” he added.

Kiminini MP Kakai Bisau criticized Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, accusing him of failing to deliver on his re-election promises to residents.

Bisau claimed that development in the county had stalled and challenged the county leadership to focus on service delivery rather than politics.

Former Kiminini MP Dr. Chris Wamalwa, who recently defected to UDA, affirmed that the ruling party will field candidates for all elective seats in Trans Nzoia in the next general election.

“We are strengthening UDA in Trans Nzoia. In 2027, the party will field candidates for all elective positions to ensure we form the next county government,” said Wamalwa.

Trans Nzoia Woman Representative Lilian Siyoi urged residents to embrace government economic empowerment initiatives such as the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) program and the Affordable Housing initiative, saying they offer opportunities for economic growth.

“These programs are meant to unlock economic potential among our youth and families. I encourage residents to take advantage of them,” she said.

Area Senator Allan Chesang expressed concern over what he described as a lack of accountability by the Trans Nzoia County Government, alleging that it has failed to account for funds disbursed by the national government over the past three years.

He called for transparency and prudent use of public resources to ensure residents benefit from development funds.

The forum brought together local leaders, UDA supporters and residents, and is part of a series of engagements aimed at consolidating political support in the region ahead of the 2027 polls.
